Marcello Macellaio
Originally from Wheaton, Illinois, Dr. Marcello Macellaio developed a passion for health, movement, and performance early in life. He attended North Central College, where he competed as a Division III wrestler while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Neuroscience. During his freshman year, Dr. Macellaio suffered a torn ACL that required surgery and extensive physical therapy. That experience not only shaped his recovery journey, but also inspired him to pursue a career in healthcare and helping others regain their quality of life.
While working as a chiropractic assistant at Duly Health and Care under two experienced chiropractors, Dr. Macellaio witnessed firsthand the positive impact chiropractic treatment could have on patients dealing with pain and mobility issues. Seeing patients improve physically and return to the activities they loved sparked his passion for finding and treating the true underlying causes of pain rather than simply managing symptoms.
Dr. Macellaio continued his education at Logan University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree magna cum laude. Dedicated to expanding his clinical knowledge and treatment options, he also became Board Certified in Acupuncture. He believes that combining chiropractic care with acupuncture can provide effective relief for a wide variety of musculoskeletal and physiological conditions while supporting the body’s natural healing process.
Outside of the office, Dr. Macellaio enjoys staying active through hiking and paddle boarding during the summer months, often bringing his dog along for the adventure. His personal experiences as both an athlete and patient continue to shape his compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Dr. Holden Stanfill
Dr. Stanfill was inspired to enter the health professions field after the passing of his brother to cancer in 2011. He watched the abuse the treatment took on the human body when subjected to chemotherapy, radiation, and repetitive surgeries. He wondered what could be done to help those patients deal with the aches and pains they were experiencing while they were going through treatment. That’s when he discovered chiropractic, and how it can be used to relieve musculoskeletal pains.
