As a former full time teacher, Tierney started receiving massages regularly to help with her mental and emotional stress. That experience pushed her to become a Licensed Massage Therapist herself, because she wanted to help others with their healing journeys. She graduated from the Healing Arts Center in 2022 where she learned a variety of massage techniques including, but not limited to, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release Techniques, Pressure Points, and more. Dr. Stanfill was inspired to enter the health professions field after the passing of his brother to cancer in 2011. He watched the abuse the treatment took on the human body when subjected to chemotherapy, radiation, and repetitive surgeries. He wondered what could be done to help those patients deal with the aches and pains they were experiencing while they were going through treatment. Alex is a graduate of the Healing Arts Center, where he underwent 600 hours of in-depth massage therapy training. He is trained in several modalities of bodywork such as Deep Tissue massage, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, as well as Lymphatic Massage.
